The primary
intended purpose of this Flip Top Cover is to avoid using the front
loading tray, because it will burn out the motor that opens
the tray. Flip Top Cases for Origonal Large model PS2s can be used
as a work around for non-functioning disk tray mechanisms.
Replacement Flip Top lids for Slim model PS2s are used to restore
functionality to a slim PS2 with a broken/snapped lid.
